Hi and Welcome to Action N Emergency Photography. My Name is Mike Hughes and I Currently live in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales, UK. My Photograph is on the bottom, so if ever you spot me out at an Emergency Service Show or anywhere in the UK snapping, please come and say hello

 I have been Photographing Emergency Service Vehicles Since 2001 and have taken well ova 3000 images with the help of Family Members, Good Friends And from the Emergency Services Personnel themselves. Without Help from Family, Friends and Staying in Constant Contant With Colleagues In The Emergency Services, This Site would not be as it is today.

The website has recently gone a major revamp and design so I hope visitors will find it lot easier to access than the previous design.

I had 3 types of cameras during my hobby but most of the photographs on the website are from 2 cameras.

These being an Olympus Small digital Camera and moving onto greater things, which is my main camera now - Cannon 300D. I try to attend as many Emergency Vehicle Shows Aswell as Air Shows as possible mainly for the Emergency Service Vehicles that attend but with an interest in aircraft displays also.
